Why there is no contact form
A form needs somewhere to send the data, and this site has no server of its own. Every tool here runs in your browser and nothing you type into them is uploaded. Adding a form would mean adding a backend, which would break the one guarantee the rest of the site is built on. So: email.
What is worth sending
- A character this site misses or gets wrong. Tell me the character and where you met it. If the list is wrong, I would rather know.
- A tool that misbehaves. Paste in a sample if you can, plus what you expected to happen. A sample small enough to email is enough.
- Something wrong in the text. A claim that is outdated, a step that does not work in your version of Word or Excel, a typo.
- Advertising and privacy. An ad that breaks a page, or a question about what is disclosed on the privacy page.
- Takedown and legal. Same address. Say what it is and where it is.
What to expect back
Everything that arrives gets read. This is a small site run by one person alongside other work, so there is no promised reply time, and some messages will not get a reply at all — usually the ones that are answered by a page already on this site. Bug reports and factual corrections are the ones that get answered first, because they make the tools better for everyone after you.
Before you write
Do not email text you would not want sitting in a mailbox. Email is not a secure channel, and the tools on this site exist precisely so your text never has to leave your device.
